In addition to advertising your business, sponsoring an entire season or a show demonstrates to the public that you and your business support the local arts community.  

Since returning from the pandemic in September of 2021, ACT1 Theater has been on a growth trajectory. Last season, we sold 26.44% more tickets than the 2021-2022 Season. Although we have not yet completed our current season, we are currently up 16% over this time last year. We expect to sell about 2,200 tickets this year and expect another 600 individuals to attend Romeo & Juliet, which is a free event that is open to the public in October.

Our sponsors will be mentioned in all our social media posts, the public at-large will see your support for ACT1 Theater and the local arts community; we currently have a Facebook reach of nearly 4,000 this month, and are confident that will keep growing since implementing a new social media strategy.

ACT1 Theater is the only community theater in Alpharetta and one of only a handful in the north Atlanta suburbs. In 2015, we formally committed to improving the quality of our shows, growing from a fellowship of Alpharetta Presbyterian Church producing shows by APC members for APC members, to a bustling, performing arts center attracting talent and patrons from across north Georgia. In 2020 and 2021, we took advantage of our downtime during the pandemic to reinvent and reinvest in ACT1.

To date, in addition to the facilities and utilities provided by APC for which we are grateful, we have been nearly 100% reliant on ticket sales to fund our operations. This has meant, when selecting shows to produce, primary considerations are numbers of tickets expected to sell and production expenses. With the benefit of Sponsors, ACT1 Theater will be able to make its production decisions first and foremost based on artistic merit.

All funds contributed through a sponsorship program should qualify for an income tax deduction to the extent allowed by law. Please consult a tax advisor to ascertain the tax benefits to which you may be entitled and to what extent the deduction may be limited by benefits you receive from ACT1 Theater in exchange for your contribution.

While the cost and benefits below are part of our standard Sponsorship program, we are willing to work within the constraints of your resources and goals. Contact us to discuss what options may be available.

Purchasing an ad in our program is also a great way to support ACT1 Theater.

  • Funds contributed through a Season Sponsorship will be applied to the general operating fund of ACT1 Theater that will be used to cover day-to-day expenses of the theater. To the extent these funds ultimately exceed the annual operating expenses, they will be allocated to cost of producing shows.

    Top Season Sponsor- $5,000

    • Exclusive recognition; only one Top Sponsor per season.

    • Recognition in ACT1 Theater Programs for every show of the season;

    • Logo on all Season promotions, including promotions for the sale of season tickets, and receives top billing;

    • Logo and hyperlink on ACT1 Theater’s website, and receives top billing;

    • Logo on Sponsor Poster in lobby for all shows, and receives top billing;

    • Recognition in all ticket confirmation emails sent to patrons throughout the season;

    • $500 credit for the purchase of Program Ads throughout the season;

    • Four season tickets;

    • 20% discount for any additional tickets using a promotional code assigned to you;

    • Mention in all curtain speeches, and receives top billing.

    Season Sponsor- $3,000

    • Recognition in ACT1 Theater Programs for every show of the season;

    • Logo on all Season promotions, including promotions for the sale of season tickets;

    • Logo and hyperlink on ACT1 Theater’s website;

    • Logo on Sponsor Poster in lobby for all shows;

    • Recognition in all ticket confirmation emails sent to patrons throughout the season;

    • $250 credit for the purchase of Program Ads throughout the season;

    • Two season tickets;

    • 20% discount for any additional tickets using a promotional code assigned to you;

    • Mention in all curtain speeches.

  • Funds contributed through a Show Sponsorship will be applied only to the cost of producing a specific show.

    Top Show Sponsor- $2,500

    • Exclusive recognition; only one Top Sponsor per show;

    • Logo and sponsorship credit on all show promotions and billing, including the cover of the Program and images on ACT1 Theater’s website;

    • Logo and hyperlink on ACT1 Theater’s website;

    • Logo on Show Sponsor Poster in lobby for sponsored show, and receives top billing (after Top Season Sponsor);

    • Recognition in all ticket confirmation emails sent to patrons;

    • $500 credit for the purchase of Program Ads throughout the season;

    • 10 tickets to the sponsored show;

    • 20% discount for any additional tickets using a promotional code assigned to you;

    • Mention in all curtain speeches.

    Show Sponsor- $1,000

    • Logo and hyperlink on ACT1 Theater’s website;

    • Logo on Show Sponsor Poster in lobby for sponsored show;

    • Recognition in all ticket confirmation emails sent to patrons;

    • $250 credit for the purchase of Program Ads throughout the season;

    • 4 tickets to the sponsored show;
