Program Ads

A great way to advertise your business and show Alpharetta that you support local arts.

Funds from Program ads will be used first to underwrite the production and printing of the Programs themselves. All remaining funds are used to support future productions at ACT1 Theater (including costumes, sets, rights acquisitions, props, etc.) and/or capital expenditures.

In addition to advertising your business, buying a program ad demonstrates to the public that you and your business support the local arts community.  

Specifics

Since returning from the pandemic in September of 2021, ACT1 Theater has been on a growth trajectory. Last season, we sold 26.44% more tickets than the 2021-2022 Season. Although we have not yet completed our current season, we are currently up 16% over this time last year.

We expect to sell about 2,200 tickets this year and expect another 600 individuals to attend Romeo & Juliet, which is a free event that is open to the public in October.

Based on average attendance and other factors from the previous three seasons, we forecast this season’s attendance as follows:

Blithe Spirit: 343
Romeo & Juliet: 600
Little Women: 697
Shiloh Rules: 176
The Little Princess: 540
Tuck Everlasting: 493

This means nearly 3,000 individuals, most of whom are presumably affluent residents of Alpharetta, Milton South Forsyth, Roswell, and Johns Creek, who will hold an ACT1 Program in the coming year.

In addition to the programs that will be handed out, each of our Programs will be posted to ACT1’s website, potentially widening the viewing audience even further and we will include your name or the name of your business in text to ensure that search engines “see” your ad.  All online ads will be in full color as long as you provide a color ad.

Once the Program for each show is finalized, we will post a link to the Program on social media and we will thank everyone who purchased an ad.

Additionally, we will include a link in the confirmation email to ticket purchasers to every restaurant that purchases an ad as a suggested place to have dinner/brunch before after a show.

ACT1 Theater always physically prints a 4-page program for every show. This 4-page program will have a QR Code that links to a digital program. The digital program is publicly available on the ACT1 website. All ads in the Physical Program will be included in the Digital Program.

For every full page of Print ads purchased, ACT1 will physically print a program with an additional 4 pages, up to 16 pages. After that, ACT1 will determine the appropriate number of pages.

All ads except the Back Cover will be in black and white in printed programs. After purchasing an ad or a package, you will need to email a .jpg or a .png file or a link to such file here. Ideal pixel sizes (at 300 pixels/inch) for images are:

·      Full Page:        2120 x 3176 (portrait) (including Back Cover)

·      Half Page:       2120 x 1548 (landscape)

·      Quarter Page:  1020 x 1548 (portrait)

Full page print ads will be placed in the program from the 4th page through the inside back-cover at the advertiser’s preference on a first-come, first-served basis. ½ and ¼ pages ads will be placed with other partial page ads at ACT1’s sole discretion.

ACT1 Theater will not print an ad that is objectionable for any reason. The basis of what is objectionable is in the sole discretion of ACT1 Theater.
